My heart-guided strokes
Zoe, a multidisciplinary artist based in Bellingen, NSW, channels nature’s inner wisdom through symbolic abstraction, intuitive ceremony, and emotional texture. Working primarily with acrylics and mixed media on canvas and wood, she creates layered, soulful landscapes that evoke memory, presence, and quiet transformation. Her work, a deep meditative process of heart-guided strokes, is purely intuitive and skill-based, forming a bridge between soul and canvas.
Art as ritual, art as reclamation
A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from the University of Newcastle (2007) specialising in Oil Painting and Traditional Photography, Zoe's early works explored colour and feeling through large-scale finger-painted compositions. Her journey continued as an Early Childhood Educator, designing trauma-informed creative programs. A pivotal emotional awakening at thirty, followed by diagnoses of ADHD ,deepened her artistic expression. Her art is a lived reflection of this transformation—a powerful ritual of self-reclamation, where her life experiences and beliefs are visibly woven into every piece.
